The Khorezm region occupies a special place in human history as a major center of world civilization and one of the important centers on the Great Silk Road. One of the cities of ancient Khorezm – the city of Khiva – declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The uniqueness of this place lies in the fact that this is one of the few city museums in which almost all the historical buildings have been preserved. The museum is open-air, untouched for centuries.


Bukhara is the most ancient city of Central Asia, whose age exceeds 2,5 thousand years. The preserved architectural heritage of Bukhara is a rare combination of monuments from different eras that characterize the development of architectural architecture throughout the 25 centuries. The historical part of the city is included by UNESCO in the lists of cities of the world heritage of mankind.


The shining lake Aidarkul in the middle of the sultry desert Kyzylkum is called a geographical miracle. The area of the lake is 3000 square meters. Km. This is a great place for both historical and ecological tourism.


Samarkand is one of the oldest cities in the world, the center of the historical region and the state of Sogdiana. More than 2 thousand years the city was a key point on the Great Silk Road between China and Europe, as well as one of the main centers of science of the medieval East.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrival in Tashkent


Arrival to Tashkent airport. Our representative will meet you in the VIP-hall of the airport with a sign “AL-SAMARKAND”. The representative and the driver will follow you to the hotel, where they will help you to stay.
Further, we will provide you with the necessary time for rest, and in the evening we invite you to have dinner in the restaurant “Navvat”. We spend the first night in Tashkent.


DAY 2

Tashkent. A Wonderful Day in the City


After breakfast at the hotel, we will go on a sightseeing tour of Tashkent accompanied by a driver and a professional guide.
We will visit the historically significant places for the city: the area “Friendship of Peoples”, the State Museum of History of Temurids and the Museum of Applied Art. Then there will be lunch in the cozy restaurant “Caravan”.
The second half of the day we will devote to acquaintance with the national culture and life: visiting the Tashkent market “Chorsu”, immersion in the diversity and originality of the eastern bazaar; Madrasah “Abdulkasym” (XVII century), the Mausoleum “Kaffal Shashi” (XVI century), Madrasah “Barak Khan” (XVI century) and the largest Madrassah “Kukeldash” (XVI century.) Will allow us to study the culture of the country and Immerse in its history.
On the 2nd day we will conclude with a festive dinner with national dances for live music in the restaurant “Old-Tashkent”. The second night we spend in Tashkent.


DAY 3

A bright way to Khiva


Early breakfast at the hotel. Then go to the airport in Tashkent for the morning flight to the city of Urgench, Khorezm region. The flight from Tashkent to Urgench will take 1 hour 40 minutes. Upon arrival we will be met by a driver and a professional guide.
Khorezm region occupies a special place in human history, as a major center of world civilization and one of the important centers on the Great Silk Road. One of the cities of ancient Khorezm – the city of Khiva – declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Immediately upon arrival, we will go to the city of Khiva. The journey takes 30 minutes. Then there will be accommodation in the hotel, rest time and a delicious lunch in the restaurant “Ichan-Kala”.
In the afternoon we will go to explore the city-museum Khiva. We will visit the architectural complex “Ichan-Kala” (XII-XIX centuries), surrounded by powerful walls, surrounded by powerful walls, including: the Mausoleum of Ismail Khoja, the Madrasah of Mohammed Amin Khan, the castle “Kunya-Ark” (XVI-XVII centuries) .), The Palace of Tash-Hovley (XIX century), the Tower of Kalta Minor, the Mosque “Juma” (X century.).

DAY 4

Holy Bukhara


After an early breakfast in the hotel we are waiting for the transfer to Bukhara. We will follow the caravans of the Great Silk Road on a comfortable SUV through the desert. The path is 480 km. We will overcome in 6 hours, interrupting only for a picnic in the desert.

After arriving in Bukhara, you should stay at the hotel and have free time until the evening. In the evening we invite you to dinner in the ancient Madrassah “Nodir Devon Begi” with the Bukhara folklore concert, after which you can make a walk through the old city. We spend the fourth night in Bukhara.


DAY 5


– After breakfast at the hotel we go on a guided tour with a professional guide. The historical part of the city is so beautiful and obligatory to get acquainted that most of the way we will overcome on foot.

Obligatory places to visit: Citadel “Ark”, masterpiece of world architecture – Mausoleum of Samanids (X century), Water Museum “Chashma-Ayub” (XIV century) and Mosque “Bolo-House” (XVIII century). Also, at will, we can get acquainted with one of the ancient national entertainments – cock and ram’s fights.

Next, we stop to rest and refresh ourselves in the Chaikhan Khan “LABY-HOUSE”, founded in the XVI-XVII centuries.
In the afternoon we will continue our hiking tour of the ancient city of Bukhara: visit the Kalyan Minaret (XII-XIV centuries), Kalyan Mosque (XV century), Miri-Arab Medrese (XVI century). Also, by car we will go outside the city to get acquainted with the mausoleum of Bahauddin Naqshbandi (XVI-XIX centuries), the Summer Residence of Emir “Sitorai-Mohi-Khosa” (XIX century), and the Mausoleum “Chor-Bakr” (X in .).

We finish the busy 5th day of the trip with dinner at the madrasah “MADARIHON”.

DAY 6

The way to Nurata


After an early breakfast we will go to a small town with an ancient history – Nurata (170 km by car).

Upon arrival in Nurata, we will stop for the night in the Yurt camp, in order to plunge into the mysterious world of deserts (the camp is specially equipped for the reception of guests, and has everything necessary for a comfortable stay and overnight stay). We expect camel riding, swimming in the cleanest lake, a picnic with local fishermen. We have dinner at the fire according to local customs and songs of shepherds.

This is a great place for both historical and ecological tourism.


DAY 7

Morning on Lake Aydarkul, the way to Samarkand


The first half of the day we will spend on Lake Aidarkul: breakfast in nature, enjoy swimming in the lake and free time, we will have lunch with local fishermen with freshly caught fish of rare varieties.

And in the afternoon we will go on our way to Samarkand. Travel time to Samarkand will be 2 hours 40 minutes along the picturesque roads of Uzbekistan (165 km.).

Upon arrival in the fabulous Samarkand, we are accommodated, resting and having dinner in the national restaurant “Sangizar”.

The seventh night we spend in Samarkand.


DAY 8

Fairy Samarkand


Samarkand – is one of the oldest cities in the world, the center of the historical region and the state of Sogdiana. More than 2 thousand years the city was a key point on the Great Silk Road between China and Europe, as well as one of the main centers of science of the medieval East.

After breakfast at the hotel we will go on a sightseeing tour of the city with a professional guide. We are expected to visit the Gur-Emir Mausoleum (XIV-XV cc.) And the Registan Square, which includes the Ulugbek medrese (15th century), the Sher-Dor Madrasah (XVII century), the Madrasah Tilla-Corey “(XVII century.).

Then there will be lunch in Samarkand Tea-house, where we will try a real Uzbek pilaf. Also, if desired, we can participate in the preparation of pilaf, a recipe which has existed since ancient times.

In the afternoon we will continue to explore the incredible city of Samarkand, and visit the Ulugbek Observatory (XIV century), the mysterious Tomb of Saint Daniel, the Ensemble “Shahi Zinda” (XIV) and the “Afrasiab” Mound, which existed before our era.
We finish the 8th day of the trip with a traditional dinner in the restaurant “Samarkand”.

We spend the night in Samarkand.


DAY 9

Fairy-tale Samarkand, Day 2


The first half of the day we will spend in the old part of the city of Samarkand, exploring the Mausoleum “Bibi-Khonum” (XIV century) and “Siab Bazaar”, which is the largest and oldest in the city, an area of 7 hectares!
In the afternoon we will visit local residents in the mountainous region of Urgut, where we will master the technique of preparing national dishes – shish kebab and lulya-kebab.

You will have a unique opportunity to plunge into centuries-old traditions and cultural customs of the Uzbek people, which will not leave you indifferent!

If desired, we can spend the night in the village, where together with the locals we will prepare “Tandyr Kebab” and taste it at the fire for folklore songs and dances.


DAY 10

The way home


The final breakfast of our trip will be organized in a national style with traditional dishes, fresh farm milk and dairy products.
Next, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight in the following direction.


If you wish to extend your stay in Uzbekistan, we can offer the following places for more detailed acquaintance with the culture of the country:
